John Rambo - The most violent war movie ever
Last night I went to see the latest Rambo movie with a friend. I enjoyed the movie a lot - don't get me wrong - but it was definitively some of the most violent stuff I've ever seen - and I've seen some. I read somewhere that there's 2.6 deaths per minute in this film. 20 years ago this movie would've been banned in Norway - but then back in those days we banned Arnold Schwarzenegger's Commando and Monthy Python's Life of Brian as well (for blasphemy).
What I liked about the movie? The way the violence was portrayed. After seeing this you'll have a sense of what old grumpy men are sending young boys off to. One can only hope that some day shit like that won't have to happen again. I've heard that some have complained about the way certain parties in the movie was portrayed - you know what? I don't care. It's a movie. Get over it. It's great action and our friend John Rambo saves the day!
